Volunteer Background Check

1. Schedule an appointment by calling or completing the information request form at www.stjohnsfingerprinting.com 
2. Provide our school’s ORI number: E55040039.
3. The cost of the background check is $70. Once approved, the background check is valid for five years.

Once you have completed this process and your background check has been approved, Veritas will add you to our approved volunteer list.

Please note: Florida requires that each volunteer have a background check linked specifically to Veritas’s ORI number (E55040039). Even if you have recently completed a background check through another school, employer, or organization, a new background check associated with Veritas is required. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the safety of our students and school community.

Veritas believes each family must be involved in helping the school by contributing volunteer hours. This requirement is critical to the success of the school’s programs, atmosphere, and safety. Veritas requires each family to provide 20 hours of support service each school year. A record of hours for each family is maintained in the office. Each family will be billed at the rate of $40.00 per hour for each hour not met. Families will receive an invoice in May of each year for hours not completed.
