Cathie Scine grew up in Gainesville, Florida. She finished college at Flagler in 2003 and then went on to Saint Louis University to get a Master’s in Historical Theology in 2005, followed by a PhD in Historical Theology in 2010. She’s been teaching history and religious studies at colleges since 2007 and, since 2010, in classical Christian schools. In 2006, she married Michael, and together, they have two dogs named Arthur and Ruger. Apart from teaching, she enjoys painting and sewing in her free time. Her teaching motto is simple: “Love what you teach, and care for your students.”
