Lisette Lugo was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. She graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California with a degree in Illustration. After graduating, she worked as an editorial illustrator for magazines and newspapers. Eventually with marriage, children and other life changing moments, Lisette focused on her own fine art and teaching. Her students ranged from pre-school to high school, along with a private studio program where those with Alzheimer’s and Autism attended. She also built programs for team-building for a variety of corporations and juvenile hall. After achieving her MFA at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California in 2015, Lisette was offered an art teaching position at a private classical school in Silicon Valley. From there, she moved to St. Johns County, Florida in early 2022 continuing to teach and be a working artist. As an accomplished artist she still believes that her greatest gift is working with kids as an art teacher. Keeping truth, goodness, and beauty in her journey she is led by the Lord to share the bridge of creativity.
