MRS. ELLEN BLAISE

Ellen Blaise’s upbringing instilled a love for music and learning. She pursued violin performance, majoring in International Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and later earned a Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. Her diverse career includes over 10 years as a hospital chaplain, crisis counselor, and director for outreach ministries and homeless shelters. As an educator, Ellen has taught elementary grades in various schools across the United States and abroad in Bulgaria, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, and Germany. She is thrilled to be at Veritas, which merges teaching with ministry to the whole child as God’s creation. In her free time, she enjoys singing in her church choir, playing therapeutic harp, participating in Zumba, and walking on the beach. As an identical twin, Ellen carries a deep appreciation for the beauty of life.
