Ransom Schulz, an experienced and dedicated coach, joined Veritas in 2022 as a substitute teacher and basketball coach. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Ransom moved to Melbourne, Florida, in 2012, eventually settling in St. Augustine eight years ago with his wife and daughter. In 2023, he co-founded the Ponte Vedra Basketball Club with his brother, Jackson, where they advise and coach aspiring high school and college athletes in North Florida. Ransom’s coaching experience includes leading the boys’ basketball team at Palm Valley Academy and working as a director at Above Basketball Academy. Additionally, he coached the inaugural boys’ basketball team at Veritas.
With a passion for merging his love of athletics and sharing God’s word, Ransom has dedicated his life to coaching students. In his leisure time, Ransom enjoys coaching his basketball teams and watching sports. He also takes advantage of the beautiful Florida coast by surfing and spending quality time with his family at the beach.
