Mrs. Hamilton joined the Veritas faculty in the summer of 2025, bringing over six years of experience teaching in classical education. She and her husband, Jason, have one daughter who is currently a Rhetoric student at Veritas.
A native of middle Tennessee, Mrs. Hamilton spent her childhood summers immersed in the stories and characters found in the books around her parents’ home. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a Philosophy minor from Belmont University in Nashville. Before moving to Florida in 2009, she worked in a university medical center, supporting staff education and professional development.
In her free time, Mrs. Hamilton enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs, visiting extended family in Tennessee and Michigan, exploring museums and traveling exhibits, cheering on college football, and savoring blueberry pancakes. Above all, she loves reading and studying the classics with her students, always mindful of the perfect Author of the greatest story.
