Mrs. Murdock was born and raised in St. Augustine. She attended Flagler College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Mandy went on to teach elementary school for five years in the St. Johns County public school system before she and her husband welcomed their first child. Mandy spent the next five years at home with her two small children. Now that her oldest is in Kindergarten at Veritas, Mandy is excited to be back in the classroom and to join the Veritas family as the Lower Grammar Art teacher! She and her family are very involved at their church and passionate about serving in children’s ministry. Mandy is a Vacation Bible School director and leads preschool ministries on Wednesdays and Sundays at her church. She is excited to incorporate her previous experiences in the classroom, her faith, and her passion for teaching as she works with Veritas students. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, baking, creating, and spending time outdoors with her family.
