Born in Jacksonville Florida, his father was Senior Chief in the Navy and moved often throughout his childhood. After 21 years in the military his father retired and moved to Fleming Island to finish out his Junior and Senior year. He attended Florida State University where he earned a Bachelors in Social Sciences with a focus in urban planning and development.
Upon graduation he began working in the construction industry where his focus was home building and land development. Chris is now partner at North East Florida Contracting, where he specializes in commercial building, including medical office buildings as well as building and development in the educational space.
Chris married his wife Laura in 2014. They have 3 boys who attend Veritas. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, hunting, and boating.
