Ms. Alyssa Michalk joins the Veritas community with a strong background in classical Christian education and a passion for helping students discover God’s truth, goodness, and beauty through the stories of humanity. She grew up attending a classical Christian school from kindergarten through high school and earned her B.A. in Classical Liberal Arts from The Master’s University.
Originally from Idaho, Ms. Michalk recently moved across the country to join the Veritas community. She spent the past several years working as a tutor, where she discovered her passion for teaching and working with students. She is especially passionate about leading students toward a greater love of God through the study of the humanities and helping them recognize the ways God’s truth, goodness, and beauty are woven throughout the stories of humanity.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Michalk is an avid reader and rarely reads without a cup of tea nearby. She also enjoys embroidery, thrifting, exploring the outdoors, especially paddleboarding, trying new recipes, and writing.
