Mary Malpas has been an educator for twenty-six years, including ten years as a homeschool parent. She hails from Indiana but has lived in Scotland, Morocco, Australia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Florida. She has also traveled to Greece and Italy. She graduated from Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, and the University of South Florida where she earned a B.A. in Classics with a minor in History. Mrs. Malpas began her teaching career as a Latin teacher in classical Christian education and has helped to grow Latin programs at an International Baccalaureate school in Central Florida, as well as a College Preparatory school in Charlotte, North Carolina. She and Mr. Malpas are blessed with five grown children, their spouses, and four grandsons. She cherishes Jesus, family time, studying theology, and listening to music.
