Mrs. Shana Rogan Montiel has been part of the Veritas community for many years as a parent and is excited to now serve as a member of the Veritas staff. She earned her B.A. in Spanish from West Virginia University, where she had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain and Cuba. She also holds a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
Mrs. Montiel has worked with children and families in various capacities throughout her career, including working in child welfare. She later chose to stay home to raise her four children, three of whom attend Veritas. She is passionate about being present for those moments when students work through something difficult, experience success, and feel proud of what they have accomplished. She also loves listening to students and hearing their stories.
Outside of school, Mrs. Montiel enjoys taking walks with her dog and learning more about growing her garden.
