Jonathan Livingood joined Veritas in July 2025, bringing over a decade of teaching and leadership experience from Kentucky and Florida. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Health from Eastern Kentucky University in 2012 and began his career teaching PE/Health while coaching volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track and field. In 2014, he moved to St. Augustine, teaching PE at all grade levels and serving as an instructor for the Marine Science Program. During his seven years at Gamble Rogers Middle School, Jonathan was Head Volleyball and Basketball Coach and Athletic Director for the St. Johns Middle School Athletic Association. Most recently, he served as Dean of Students at Beachside High School.
Passionate about helping students discover sports and hobbies that enhance their physical, mental, emotional, and social health, Jonathan loves seeing students gain confidence through activity. Outside of school, he is a dedicated Kentucky basketball fan, enjoys playing basketball, coaching his children through Upward Sports, and traveling to the mountains of Montana and Wyoming. He and his wife, Lindsay, have three children.
