Dr. Clay Carmichael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with a specialization in Animal Science from The University of Florida. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Secondary Science from Valdosta State University, and a Doctorate from the University of North Florida. Dr. Carmichael has received accolades throughout his career, including being named Principal of the Year in St. Johns County, Literacy Principal of the Year in Florida, and Adjunct Professor of the Year at UNF. He is supported by his wonderful wife, a former educator. He is also the proud father of two daughters, one of whom is on her way to the United States Naval Academy, while his youngest daughter is an energetic 3rd grader. The Carmichael family holds deep-rooted faith and attends worship services each week.
