Mrs. Erinn Saburn

Mrs. Saburn joined the Veritas faculty in 2025 after eight years teaching in classical schools. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mary Baldwin College, where she also studied elementary and secondary education. This is her sixth year teaching sixth grade, and it remains her favorite. She loves walking alongside students as they grow in wisdom, character, and a love for learning.
As a longtime member of a military family, Mrs. Saburn has called many places home over the years, including Japan, Virginia, California, Rhode Island, Nevada, Maryland, and Florida. That constant moving has given her a deep appreciation for history, culture, and the stories that connect people across generations.
When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Saburn loves getting lost in a good historical fiction novel, spending time at the beach, doing embroidery, crocheting, and most of all, being with her four children. Two of her children are Rhetoric students at Veritas, while her oldest two are off at college.
Above all, Mrs. Saburn loves sharing great books and meaningful stories with her students. She is passionate about cultivating a love of God, encouraging joy in learning, and helping students recognize and appreciate truth, goodness, and beauty in the world around them.
