Cathie Scine grew up in Gainesville, Florida. She graduated from Flagler College in 2003 and then went on to Saint Louis University to receive a Master’s in Historical Theology in 2005, followed by a PhD in Historical Theology in 2010. She married her husband in 2006. Shortly thereafter in 2007 she began teaching history and religious studies at the college level and, since 2010, in classical Christian schools. Apart from teaching, she enjoys painting and sewing in her free time. Her teaching motto is simple: “Love what you teach, and care for your students.”
